Sam Seder was born in November 1966 in New York City, New York. In 1996, he appeared in the television series The Show as Tom Delaney.

Sam Seder was born Samuel Lincoln Seder to a Jewish family in New York City. He was raised in Worcester, Massachusetts[6]. He was one of three siblings. His father, J. Robert Seder was a lawyer in Worcester[7].
