Cuco was born Omar Banos in Inglewood, CA on 26th June 1998. Adolfo and Irma Banos are his parents. His father Adolfo was born in Mexico City in Mexico. He spent most of his childhood in Hawthorne, California. 

Cuco completed his high school degree from Hawthorne High School. He was a part of the school’s jazz band and marching band. He enrolled in Santa Monica City College but dropped out to focus on his music career.

Cuco Career

Cuco started making music after completing high school. He uploaded a solo bass guitar song of Santo and Johnny’s classic romantic ballad Sleep Walk on YouTube in 2015. He produced songs from his parents’ house and released them on SoundCloud and Bandcamp.

His first EP was titled Heavy Trip which was uploaded on Bandcamp. He uploaded another song titled Yeah on SoundCloud titled Yeah.
